Fire protection engineers and firefighters tackle many of the same challenges from different angles—but when those perspectives are brought together, both design and emergency response improve dramatically. This presentation explores how a deeper understanding of fireground operations enables engineers to create systems that go beyond code compliance to actively enhance firefighter safety, efficiency, and decision‑making.
